It happened on the month of December since both my sisters are at home and having vacation. At that time they are already staying at Manila, working & studying. I dunno if i'm already highschool by that time. We were reading pocketbooks, both of them inside the room and i'm outside. The light is on but not that bright. No way this could hinder my addiction on reading novel that time, see the results after years of reading much. c(O-O)c
Lost in oblivion...this happens when i'm reading, i forget the time and what is happening around me. So i thought my sisters are still awake but they're already asleep. Alas, i'm done reading, too lazy to get up and join my sisters at the room, i stayed right where i'm at. I decided to sleep there since we're crowded if i join them inside. Dunno if it's already midnight, tucked at the folding bed with pillow and blanket, i tried to sleep. I normally cover myself with blanket 'talukbong' as what we call it. Then suddenly i hear somebody calling my name. It was soft voice that i can barely hear. So i stood up and look for my sister, whom i thought was calling me and found out that they were both sleeping soundly. I went back outside to try to sleep again but the voice keeps calling my name. Who's gonna be calling me at middle of the night, not a playmate nor a neighbor i guess. But she definitely know me...whispering my name. I was terrified, thinking if i should answer or not. I wanted to peek outside the blanket of which i cover myself once again but was too afraid to see who could it be. My parents room is farther than where my sisters were. Out of nowhere, i found my voice and shouted to call my father. My father hurried towards me asking for the reason why i am calling him. I started crying and can't even talk to him to tell the reason why. If it wasn't for the situation i'd be happy because i slept beside my parents once again just like when i was a child. The following day they asked me the reason why i called and cried that night. So i tell them everything.
Won't you look at the window beside you? Perhaps somebody is calling you as well....
