3 DAYS LEFT FOR THE YEAR 2010!

It's been a while since the last update.  For one i have been so busy as a bee.....hmmn kinda!
What could have been the perfect way to wrap up the year? Of course, it'd be watching Rain.  Awww....times like these, i'd wish that i'm actually living in Korea (@_@) see my dreamy eyes?
As Rain's gonna hold a concert on December 31 ~ Adieu 2010 we'll see clouds forming heavily in Korea hehehe

Rain's scheduled to enlist in the army mid-2011 for the 2 years mandatory military service.
But he's gonna leave us with a new album....watch-out on 2011 and a world tour?!?!
Sheesssss....fingers crossed and wishing for another RAIN IN MANILA!

WOW PHILIPPINES ~ 'PILIPINAS KAY GANDA'

There has been recent buzz locally and widely thru the internet since the DoT launched their new slogan 'Pilipinas Kay Ganda' (Kay Ganda - locally means so beautiful) last November 15, 2010.

According to Federation of Tourism Industries of the Philippines Inc. (FTIP) President Alejandra Clemente ”the slogan did not ignite much excitement. Maybe they rushed in coming out with a new brand. But what we need is something that would create a great impact.”

Honestly speaking Wow Philippines is much catchy as compared to the recent one.  And as this is for tourism purposes the slogan should have word that foreigners does understand unless government is only addressing the local tourism then they should use the native language as slogan.

So i'd still say WOW! PHILIPPINES...two words says it all!

SUKKIE SINGS MARY STAYED OUT ALL NIGHT OST

At this time of the year, mostly scary stories are told.  And i guess i'm gonna have to share mine.  Several years have gone by and yet i still can remember like it only happened yesterday. 

It happened on the month of December since both my sisters are at home and having vacation.  At that time they are already staying at Manila, working & studying.  I dunno if i'm already highschool by that time.  We were reading pocketbooks, both of them inside the room and i'm outside.  The light is on but not that bright. No way this could hinder my addiction on reading novel that time, see the results after years of reading much. c(O-O)c

Lost in oblivion...this happens when i'm reading, i forget the time and what is happening around me.  So i thought my sisters are still awake but they're already asleep.  Alas, i'm done reading, too lazy to get up and join my sisters at the room, i stayed right where i'm at.  I decided to sleep there since we're crowded if i join them inside.  Dunno if it's already midnight, tucked at the folding bed with pillow and blanket, i tried to sleep.  I normally cover myself with blanket 'talukbong' as what we call it.  Then suddenly i hear somebody calling my name.  It was soft voice that i can barely hear.  So i stood up and look for my sister, whom i thought was calling me and found out that they were both sleeping soundly.  I went back outside to try to sleep again but the voice keeps calling my name.  Who's gonna be calling me at middle of the night, not a playmate nor a neighbor i guess. But she definitely know me...whispering my name. I was terrified, thinking if i should answer or not.  I wanted to peek outside the blanket of which i cover myself once again but was too afraid to see who could it be.  My parents room is farther than where my sisters were.    Out of nowhere, i found my voice and shouted to call my father.  My father hurried towards me asking for the reason why i am calling him.  I started crying and can't even talk to him to tell the reason why.  If it wasn't for the situation i'd be happy because i slept beside my parents once again just like when i was a child.  The following day they asked me the reason why i called and cried that night.  So i tell them everything. 

Won't you look at the window beside you? Perhaps somebody is calling you as well....

DREAM HIGH KIM SOO-HYUN

Ever watched Will it Snow for Christmas? I love this guy from there, playing the role as young Goo Soo. 
Finally, he got his first lead role for Dream High - drama on arts high school and centering around students with musical and dance talents.  He'll take the role of Song Sam-Dong.  He fell head-over-heels inlove with the lead actress, of which is still unknown and thus leads him to follow her to the arts school.  Set to premiere on January 3 next year. 

Taecyon of 2PM is rumored to be on this drama as well & T-ara's Eun-Jung...perhaps lots of idol stars will join. 

But with Kim Soo-Hyun alone, i'm gonna wait for this!

They're my childhood friends, oh my i can't even remember when we started to become friends, was i too young then that i cannot remember it anymore hehe.  As far as i can remember, our mothers has alliance, they're friends as well. And so goes with my siblings, they're friends of their siblings as well, got the idea?  I'm a bit confused too :-) . Chelle, used to be my neighbor she lives at the house right in front of our house...a generous neighbor that is,  i almost live with them na hahaha.  And yes, Chie used to be my neighbor as well before they move to their new house somewhere in Poblacion as well.  And Gen, her parents are vendors at the market as well just like my parents so she's frequently at the market which is then situated right across the street, now turned to Damian Reyes Sports Complex.

He's playing the hippie-boho (free spirited) musician, Mu-gyul - the lead singer of indie band (damn i can't wait for Sukkie to sing, i'm dying!).  The drama is based on web toon from the creator of Full House.
Jang Geun-Suk is identified on successive musical roles from Doremi (movie), Beethoven Virus, to the most famous You're Beautiful. Who cares? This young man is really good in singing (my addiction to his voice could be a proof, yeah?).  I really love when this guy begins singing...my heart melts. ^.^ 

Playing Mary is Moon Geun-Young (Cinderella's Sister). And the rival of Mu-gyul on Mary's heart - the 'perfect' chaebol - Kim Jae-Wook (Coffee Prince, Bad Guy).

As for me, i doesn't matter anymore. I signed-up as noona-fangirl for Sukkie (Jang Geun-Suk - You're Beautiful), MBLAQ, Lee Hong-Ki coz it really made them beautiful.  ^.^  I got used to them wearing such although it really is kinda bugging when you see it the first time.  A friend says it's looks kinda weird.

Taiwanese dramas are my breaks for Korean dramas leh? REMEMBERING ONDOY

One year after the tragic typhoon Ondoy (September 26, 2009) have we actually learned our lessons? 

I can still clearly remember that day, rain starts pouring on the 25th, Friday night and i am truly thankful that the following day i'd be at home (due to crisis that year, we only work on a Mon-Fri sched).  I rushed to Divisoria because my buyer paid for an mp3 player and as a responsible seller it is due to my obligation to ship-out the item immediately as she noted it is for her son's birthday.  I scheduled it for shipping along with the other bedsheets for the following day (Sept 26), little did i know that the typhoon would be that strong on that day.  I am hesitant to actually send the item because i have heard that it's all flooded around the area but considering that somebody needs the item badly so i rushed out to find for open Air21/Mail & More branch. I put on 2 jackets on top of my shirt and i wore shorts aware that it's already too flooded outside.  Braving the flooded street...i merely rely on people in front of me, trailing along with them, hoping there's no man-hole somewhere at the street.  This is actually not new to me, i am pertaining to walking on flooded streets.  I have
experienced it before when i was still studying - trailing with people from PUP campus, passing along Espana heading to Tayuman area by just walking, well that's another story so i'll leave it at that. Going back to Ondoy experience, I head towards the direction of SM Sta. Mesa.  Passing along the Nagtahan Bridge, the area near EARIST is already flooded as well.  I stopped walking at SaveMore Nagtahan, deciding which direction to go.  With no means of transportation, other than the tri-bikes 'padyak' as we call them, SM Sta Mesa is way too far and the area is know for high floods.  I headed towards the direction of Mendiola thinking of Mail & More Branch near University of the East.  Turns out, i really have nowhere to go because the area is flooded as well and yes, the whole metro is!  I continued walking reaching Centro Escolar University, flood is high, vehicles are parked everywhere and some are basically drowning...good heavens, i am making the right decision of coming to this area? And i am beginning to feel a bit scared of what i am doing.  Still keeping trails on people meeting along my way i have reached UE and mind you the flood is going deeper and deeper.  Though i wanted to congratulate myself for reaching my target area, still the business establishments are mostly closed with floods that may seem like a river and how lucky am i that i actually slipped on my way back.  Looking left and right, i actually wish nobody sees me tripping off the slippy aisle..but to my dismay there are actually crowds witnessing my fall.  WAPAK! how many frogs did i actually caught????  With that i told myself my little adventure is over, i do not care if my buyer would be mad as hell and leave me a very negative feedback for not sending her items, i can honestly say that i have tried my best to send come high waters & slipping-down to drench with dirty flood waters, but i have to go home.
